My SISSNER designs are always based on photographs. Pictures taken somewhere around the world with a motif that speaks to my heart. Yet they always have something in common: they showcase the minute and fascinating details that bring our surroundings so vivaciously to life.
„If you want to reach the infinite, then explore every aspect of the finite“
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
For example, the many different stones used to build a wall, each and every one of them unique. Or perhaps a wilted flower in all its transience.
Even the vibrantly colourful fibres of a carelessly discarded, hand-woven cotton towel are unique in their appearance. This is what I specialise in, as an expert for motif designs, focusing attention on these (often overlooked) details in an elegant and expressive way to create exquisite designs.
Designs that can be used for fabrics, leather bags, crockery, stationery, packaging and so much more.
„Taste is, so to speak, the microscope of judgment “
